About Us
What brings us all together? The passion for the bean, and that's already a nice start
Our Philosophy
Our Passion
For us, coffee is more than just a means to an end, more than a caffeine-fueled pick-me-up in the early hours of the morning. Each bean represents enjoyment, passion, and temperament.
Our premium green coffee beans come from the best growing regions in the world, traded “directly”: For us, DIRECT TRADE is the better and more honest way to bring coffee to people.
We don’t need labels and badges, a direct connection to the local farmers, fair payment, and trade on an equal footing without many intermediaries – that’s what coffeekult stands for.
By now, coffeekult is active and on the move in many countries, and we personally know many farmers on the plantations.
In all our areas, we strive to be SUSTAINABLE: From coffee packaging or package delivery to our business goals! coffeekult was nominated for the Energy Globe Austria Award in 2021 for its sustainability strategy, what an honor for us!
Consumers now pay close attention to where their coffee beans come from and what the production conditions are like.
Our Roastery
Roasting with passion
“Yes, we roast” – In the heart of Tyrol, directly in Innsbruck, gently and with a lot of craftsmanship and coffee know-how.
Responsible for this is coffeekult Founder and Owner Cem Korkmaz, who as an international Barista Champion and two-time representative of Austria at the World Coffee Championships knows exactly what good coffee should be. coffeekult roasts almost daily – gently and hand-made in Tyrol – in small batches, so we can always offer you the freshest coffee.
“Standard” does not exist for us in terms of consistent quality, but in the selection of coffee beans. Our roasts will amaze you, this variety of flavors and nuances will turn you into a true coffee lover!
We refine our green coffee beans with the so-called drum roasting. Small quantities of green coffee are heated in a rotating drum from the outside, gently roasted, and then slowly cooled with air. This allows us to evenly and gently heat the beans. Because: burnt coffee is a thing of the past.
